NVIDIA Dynamo is a distributed serving layer that scales LLM inference across multi-GPU/multi-node clusters. It coordinates workers, manages routing, ensures fault tolerance, and optimizes KV cache reuse, complementing engines like vLLM.

Building an LLM Gateway requires balancing availability, latency, guardrails, and cost. The speaker advises using per-request fallbacks over retries and tracking P99 latency per model/route to prevent silent outages.

TokenOps is an out-of-band control plane that manages AI agent costs by moving beyond simple hard caps. It uses a 'boundary annotation' to track attribution and employs 'steer' policies to guide agents toward cost efficiency.

Cornelia Davis explores MCP Tasks v2, detailing how the protocol achieves durability for long-running workflows while remaining stateless. She contrasts V1's complexity with V2's simplified polling model.

The frontier in generative video is shifting from quality to efficiency and long-horizon generation. Building real-time applications requires global GPU positioning, WebRTC/ICE/TURN setup, and continuous streaming pipelines.

To scale RL post-training cross datacenters, the synchronization unit must shift from massive full checkpoints (500 GB) to small 'lossless patches' representing only visible weight changes. This enables elastic rollout fleets.

The conversation dives into scaling distributed systems, covering everything from simulating database failures with proxies to optimizing vector storage on S3 for AI workloads.

MCP Tasks enable durable, long-running asynchronous work for agents. The specification evolves from V1 (stateful) to V2 (stateless core), solving critical scaling issues inherent in distributed systems.

To train autonomous AI agents, Emulated simulates entire companies in high-fidelity environments. This moves beyond simple code diffs to model complex failures across distributed clusters and cloud resources.

Most agent failures are harness failures, not model failures. The system must own state transitions, enforce ordered commits, and use a run receipt to prove actions were visible to the user.

By modeling API requests as short-lived execution graphs (DAGs), we can detect silent skips, reorders, or performance deviations at a single node, cutting root cause analysis from hours to under 30 seconds.

AI agents are evolving from local 'Harnesses' to persistent, always-on services called 'Claws.' This shift requires adding initiative and external connectivity, fundamentally changing how we build developer tools.
